Quick Ad Shootout
Description
The quick AD shootout campaign is a speed competition to create a video advertisement in a limited time on a theme that will be revealed right before the competition. The point is to highlight creative AD making and having fun!
Participation:
- Participants may work individually or as a team.
- Each team can have at most three members.
Rules:
- The team can shoot videos at any camera they wish.
- The team can use any acting talent or props.
- The team can use any music/sound effect from any source. It is important to note that the team will be responsible for any consequences due to copyright infringement.
- The team cannot use any video clip from any source.
- The team can use any video editing software, graphics animation software to enhance their clips. But they cannot use any samples provided in the software.
- Team will be given 5 hours after the theme is revealed to shoot, edit and compile the video and submit it.
- The whole event will take place on the campus, on the event day.
The teams can use their own computers or the computers in the labs of FAST-NU.
Judging Criteria:
The Judges will consider the following criteria:
- The AD should have an entertainment value and should be fun to watch.
- The AD should create positive thinking about the product advertised and should create at least some sort of desire to get the product.
- The AD should have a replay value.
- Most importantly the AD should have a focus on fun!
