On 12th April 2008, a new world was born - A world which was an artist’s haven, a photographer’s dream, a genius’s path to recognition and a web developer’s inspiration. This world named as “DigitalEyez” was created by the top-notch committee of FAST-NU, The WebMasters, who have a history of pioneering highly successful technology and web-related events.

DigitalEyez, a brain-child of The WebMasters, was the first-ever media-centric event to be held at FAST-NU, attracting student participation from all over the country! It was a one-day event comprising of 6 competitions namely:

• Photography,
• Short Movie and Animation,
• Web Designing,
• Expressions (a sketching and painting competition),
• Brainiac (a quiz competition for schools and colleges)
• and Young achievers (a talk show in association with Café Vision)

The response was overwhelming and the event a huge success! DigitalEyez, being rich in creativity, gave a platform to the aspiring youth of Pakistan to come up and display their flair. Students from all major schools, colleges and Universities competed against each other and proved their mettle. Renowned individuals from Art and Media such as Azi Raza and Jami marked this event with their presence.
It is said that success is always backed by team effort, and this was proved by The WebMasters in DigitalEyez 2008. The committee, spear-headed by Ms. Hina Aman under the fine supervision of Sir Muhammad Rafi, put together their best efforts to make DigitalEyez a stunning success.
