DigitalEyez has been the most prominent amongst the various events held at FAST-NU Karachi but this could not have been possible without the tremendous and valiant efforts of the current WebMasters team, and also in no small part, due to the initiatives taken by the WebMasters of yesteryears.

The WebMasters have gone from “… a vision to create web culture and make the website a desire rather than a utility” to “…A company of heroes, taking it beyond mere ones and zeroes” in a quick span of 10 years, but this journey has not been easy; WebMasters committee was established at a time when computers were considered a luxury rather than a necessity, let alone the use of internet. Thus, the need of a committee that could remove the gap between the student and the internet was paramount. It is due to the contributions made by these former members that the committee was able to grow from a motley crew of four to a full-fledged committee, capable of carrying out workshops, minor Intra-University event to Major events like the DigitalEyez.

Thus, in DigitalEyez’10, the current team of WebMasters will pay homage to the efforts of the former WebMasters by awarding them with recognition for their esteemed services. We would like everyone, who attends DigitalEyez 2010, to join us and become a part of our happiness.
